Hands-On Workshop on Advanced Techniques in Molecular Forensics @ NICHE

The Department of Allied Health Sciences, NICHE Kanyakumari successfully conducted a two-day Hands-On Workshop on “Advanced Techniques in Molecular Forensics.”

The workshop featured expert-led technical sessions covering key aspects of molecular forensics, biological evidence collection and preservation, genomic DNA extraction, and DNA visualization techniques. Participants also received intensive hands-on laboratory training, allowing them to gain practical exposure and strengthen their technical skills in molecular procedures.

The program provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their knowledge and practical understanding of modern forensic technologies through interactive sessions and laboratory experience.
