Grand Alumni Meet for 1991–1995 Batch

In a heartfelt celebration of camaraderie and professional achievement, Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE), Kumaracoil, warmly welcomed back the 1991–1995 batch alumni for a grand reunion. Organised in collaboration with the Noorul Islam Alumni Association (NIAA), the event marked three decades of legacy, growth, and lifelong bonds.

The day commenced with the arrival of alumni and guests at 9:45 AM, followed by registration and a formal inauguration ceremony featuring an invocation song and the lighting of the lamp by NICHE students.

Dr. P. Thirumalvalavan, Registrar of NICHE, delivered a special felicitation address, commending the achievements of the alumni and their continued association with the institution. He also highlighted the pivotal role of alumni in supporting academic and institutional growth.

Mr. Messiah Das, Lead Software Engineer at Statefarm Insurance, USA, delivered the welcome address on behalf of the NICE95 Alumni group, setting a warm and enthusiastic tone for the day.

The technical sessions featured distinguished alumni speakers:
    •    Topic 1: Overview of Data Management, AI/ML – Current Trends
Mr. Syed Kareemullah, Managing Director and Head of Data Technology, Jefferies Financial Group, USA
    •    Topic 2: Cyber Security
Mr. Patrick Pitchappa, Vice President – Technology Risk and Availability, First Abu Dhabi Bank

These sessions served as an enriching knowledge-sharing experience for students, faculty, and fellow alumni, offering deep insights into emerging technologies in data and cyber domains.

The Vote of Thanks was delivered by NICHE and alumni representatives, including Mr. Igni Sebasti Prabhu, Controller of Examinations, Sathyabama University, Chennai.

The event concluded with the presentation of mementoes, group photography, tea and snacks, and a guided campus visit that allowed alumni to reconnect with their academic roots and witness the institution’s ongoing progress.

This memorable reunion reaffirmed the enduring bond between NICHE and its alumni, beautifully echoing the sentiment:
“Once a part of Noorul Islam, always a part of our family.”
