Department of Mathematics – One Day International Seminar INAIGA 2025
Theme: "AI-Powered Approaches to Graph Theory and Applications"
The Department of Mathematics at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE) conducted a One Day International Seminar titled "INAIGA 2025: AI-Powered Approaches to Graph Theory and Applications" on 28th May 2025 at 11:00 a.m. The event took place in the Smart Classroom of the Department of Computer Science.
The seminar featured prominent speakers:
Dr. R. Kala, Professor, Department of Mathematics, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, graced the occasion in person as the Invited Speaker.
Dr. Ben Sujin, Registrar, College of Engineering Technology, University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Sultanate of Oman, who participated in a hybrid mode.
The event was convened by Dr. K. Uma Samundeswari, Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, NICHE.
Dr. P. Thirumalvalavan, Registrar of NICHE, presided over the seminar and delivered the Presidential Address. In his speech, he highlighted the pivotal role of Graph Theory in the evolving landscape of AI applications.
Dr. K. Sankaranarayanapillai, Dean, offered felicitations and praised the department’s initiative in integrating theoretical mathematics with emerging technologies.
The seminar was a resounding success, made possible by the dedicated efforts of the faculty, organizing committee, and students of the Department of Mathematics. It served as a valuable platform for the exchange of insights and recent advancements at the intersection of Graph Theory and Artificial Intelligence.
